קורס זה, "טלוויזיה כחול-לבן", הוא קורס אקדמי אשר אושר על-ידי המועצה להשכלה גבוהה. הוא מועבר באופן מקוון וסגור שדורש רישום, אשר מתאפשר בחינם. הקורס הוא ללא מטרות רווח ולא מופקים ממנו רווחים. הקורס ממומן כולו על-ידי מיזם "קמפוס" של "ישראל דיגיטלית" מטעם המשרד הממשלתי לשוויון חברתי.

משום תכני הקורס, הכרחי שנשתמש בתכנים שלא נוצרו על-ידינו, אך הם בלתי-נפרדים מהדיון האקדמי על הטלוויזיה הישראלית. במשך הפקת הקורס ניסינו לאתר ולקבל את אישורם של כל בעלי זכויות היוצרים וכל יוצרי ויוצרות התכנים בהם השתמשנו.

עם זאת, לעיתים מסיבות שונות, ועל-אף מאמצים רבים שהושקעו בכך, לא פשוט לאתר את בעלי הזכויות.

This course, "Israeli Television", is an academic course, approved by The Council for Higher Education. It is taught as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), and is accessible only by registration, which is free of charge. The entire course is not for profit, and no profits are made from it. The entire production and maintenance of the course is funded by the "Campus" initiative of "Digital Israel", which is a part of the Governmental Ministry for Social Equality.

Due to the nature of the course, it is essential to use every once in a while contents which were not created by us, but are inseparable from the academic discussion of Israeli Television. During the production of the course diligent efforts were made in order to locate the copyright holders and receive their approval for the use of the contents.

None the less, in some cases and for various reasons and factors, and despite great efforts in doing so, it was not simple to trace the copyright holders.
